I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
As he'll just walk straight back in the team and fuck up what is turning out to be a reasonable formation we have here.

Feel free to call me a cunt

Carroll would work well with either one of Sakho and Valencia i cant see much changing. Its good to finally have options and people are still moaning.

Re: I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
Valancia can stop this happening by working as hard as he has but also not dwelling on the ball so long. Seems to need just a second too long on the ball at the moment.

Do we really think Andrew will be fit for any length of time? I dont.

Re: I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
I want him back, invevitable we will be losing games at some point and need to change things. Not many better to come on for the last 15-20. Moaning about him is fucking ridiculous and if Sakho got injured we'd be fucked

Why don't you just enjoy the win and the good start to the season?

Sakho, Valencia and Carroll...What a terrible position to be in to have these guys lead our line.

A decent 2-0 win and yet someone always looks for a negative.

Not looking forward to a £19m England striker being back in our squad? Oh do fuck off.

Carroll is a class striker.
isn't it great having a squad so good that he will really have fight for a place in it?

Andy Carroll isn't a skill-free battering ram.

We don't have to play as if he was, just because he's on the pitch.

Re: I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
Of course will be an asset.put it this way..if he came on with Nolan today. Pretty sure he would have scored. Certainly would been a big plus.
The fact that we arnt as desperate as last season to get him back is massive.
We got obsessed with him last season. Not so this

Is this another prediction thread like the Nolan will start one.

I spit on you.

Re: I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
Agree with you ' replace Carlton on the bench and come on in the last 20 mins if we are losing .. That is all we should use him for .. Oh and by the way sell him and Nolan to the Geordies in January

Arko 8:26 Sun Oct 5
Re: I'm not looking forward to Carroll coming back
First of all: Nolan and Carroll will not be sold to the Geordies. Nolan and his 50K a week salary will prevent him from being sold and Carroll is a very useful player plus a decent option to have on the bench.

We haven't yet seen what a healthy Carroll can do.
Also I feel Carroll doesn't really need Nolan to succeed on the pitch, despite both of them having good stats when playing together.

I'm encouraged by the fact that Nolan didn't start today, meaning that Nolan will not just slip back into the starting eleven just like that.
I reckon it will be a similar situation for Carroll.
As long as the Sakho/Valencia/Zarate combo deliver goals and wins it'll be very hard for Carroll to force his way into the starting eleven.
